ACED Registration is open at any time throughout the school year.  The Registration Form linked at left is required for each family registering with the program, along with the annual registration fee of $50 per child and a $10 charge for a security access fob. (Additional fobs are available at $10 each)

TO REGISTER:

• Download and Save the registration documents linked at left.
• To determine the plan that best fits your needs, review the Plan & Cost Comparison.
• Sign up for ACED Remind Messages, by choosing the instructions designated for the first letter of your STUDENT’S LAST NAME, (A-J, or K-Z). 
• Read & Keep – Parent Information, Fee Schedule, and Policies.
• Complete the Registration Form.  This can be done electronically by saving the blank form, filling it out, saving the completed form, and emailing the completed form to Mrs. Cornell at ACED@olpls.org.  OR, you may print a paper copy of the registration form to complete and return it to the school.
• Pay the Registration fees and security fob fees, if applicable.

PAYMENTS can be made directly into your Sycamore account or by check or cash.

• Payments in Sycamore – If you have not paid directly into the Sycamore system before, you will need to set up a payment method, either with a credit card, or with your bank account.  Click the following link for Instructions for Making Payments in Sycamore.  A 2.5% service fee applies to all electronic payments.
• Payments by Check or Cash* – Checks should be made payable to “OLP ACED.”   All check and cash payments should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, indicating the student's name, and addressed to "ACED." Payments can be dropped off at the school office, sent in to school with your child and given to his/her teacher, or placed in the ACED payment box, outside the ACED office.

Please let your child's teacher know the days he/she will be attending the afternoon program.  Teachers drop students off with the ACED Program as they take classes to the parking lot for dismissal.

ACED (After Care Extended Day) takes place in the school auditorium, Monday through Friday, during the school year, as outlined below:

 

• MORNING CARE is offered from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m.  Breakfast is not provided, however milk is available.  If you would like your child to eat breakfast during morning care, please send it with them.  No morning care will be offered on Late Start Days, due to inclement weather.

 

• AFTERNOON CARE is offered from 3:15 – 6:00 p.m.  We offer a healthy snack and milk every day. No soda is allowed in ACED, as we follow the same nutritional guidelines as the school. Homework study time is offered Monday through Thursday from 3:15 – 4:30 p.m. This is a quiet study hall period in which staff members are available to assist with questions.

 

• HALF DAYS - ACED is offered on EARLY RELEASE DAYS from Noon – 6:00 p.m. You must sign up for these days and indicate the times that your child will be attending, so we can plan for adequate staffing.  Plan to send your child with a lunch, as no school lunch is provided.

 

• FULL DAYS - ACED is offered on several NO SCHOOL DAYS from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. You must sign up for these days and indicate the times that your child will be attending, so we can plan for adequate staffing.  Plan to send your child with a lunch, as no school lunch is provided.  If for any reason your child won’t be attending after you have signed them up, please let us know as soon as possible.

 

• ACED is not open on Snow Days.  Please sign up for Mrs. Briggs’s Remind system, and/or listen for Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic School on news listings.  If the school day is shortened due to weather conditions ACED will be closed for that afternoon.

 

• ACED REMIND GROUP:  Additional urgent notifications may be sent via text or email though the ACED Families Remind Group.  This Remind group is separate from Mrs. Briggs's all-school Remind group, and pertains to ACED families only.  Reminders may include pick-up location changes, reminders of Half and Full Days, and urgent inclement weather information.  Be sure to sign up when you register for ACED!
