I am thrilled to be the Religion and Social Studies teacher at Our Lady of the Presentation. I love History, World Cultures and Current events. The students will learn about and develop an awareness of the world around them. I feel blessed to be able to teach Religion. As a class, we will share our faith filled lives with one another every day. I hope to inspire your child to grow in the love of the Lord while learning the foundations of the Catholic faith.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Avila University and I am certified in grades 1-8.
I also have a Masters in Education from Lindenwood University in St. Louis.
I previously taught in the Independence School District, grades 3rd and 5th. While in 5th grade I was responsible for the Science Fair and the DARE program.
My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we have 4 children. My youngest son attends OLP and my oldest son is a freshmen in college. My second son is a junior at St.Michael the Archangel High School along with my daughter who is a freshman there as well.
When we are not attending their sporting events or choir concerts we enjoy being outside. We love to be out on the boat or swimming in the pool with our extended family members.
